While safety at work is one of our key priorities as mentioned before, last week at Eastern Mining in Tisovci we had a demonstration on how to safely operate whilst working at height.

Providing support for safer road conditions
In the past few weeks, we have captured some images of the workers from Javno komunalno preduzeće Vareš while they were clearing the overgrown grass as well as branches that were hanging from trees, making both sides of the local road “Vijadukt Vareš – Višnjići” dangerous. This road leads to the communities in Daštansko, Pržići and Tisovci.

On Monday, May 4, the road reconstruction from Vijadukt through Pržići and Daštasnko villages to the village of Visnjici, and across the Pogar village from Bare to Duboštica turning began.

Eastern Mining Company donates disinfection tunnel to Vares Healthcare Centre
Eastern Mining company donated a disinfection tunnel and 200 litres of corresponding disinfecting fluid to the Vares Healthcare Centre for a more effective fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The tunnel will be used in the coming weeks for the everyday disinfection of all uncovered body parts, clothing and shoes of people entering the building.
